Tartan is my favourite colour!

When you think of plaids and tartan, you usually associate them with autumn or winter. 

Well, my lovelies! It's time to rethink, because tartan is my favorite colour this year and it would be foolish to wear it only for two seasons when you can wear it all four.

Macleod Tartan literally has the colour of the sun in its pattern and what is more summery than yellow?

I bought this cute little kilt bag on Etsy and, while it rained all day yesterday, made a few small alterations to it. I replaced the cheap-looking nylon strap with a leather one from an old bag. Then I removed the small pouch (it will surely find a new purpose in the future) and instead chose a safety pin with beads to decorate the bag.

Then I briefly and carefully ironed it with a steam iron... and voilà!
