OOTD: Denim pinafore dresses & canvas tote bag

For me, September is always marked by a slow farewell to summer. You spend as much time as possible outdoors before it gets too cold or wet—enjoying the last rays of sun on your skin, buying sunflowers at the market, and drinking a last cappuccino outside.

September is also the month when I love wearing long pinafore dresses, as they are perfect for creating lovely layered looks. Right now, I’m still pairing them with simple T-shirts or polo shirts underneath, but soon I’ll be wearing them with sweatshirts, cropped jackets, or bomber jackets.

It’s also the time of year when I dig out my canvas tote bags. They perfectly complement increasingly cozy outfits and are absolute marvels of spaciousness.
