Post Punk Squiggle Sarouel Trousers

As part of their collaboration—launched in 2010 and titled "Lee Jeans for Vivienne Westwood Anglomania"—Westwood teamed up with the denim experts for a capsule collection that draws on the archival collections from the 70s and 80s, as well as Lee’s denim expertise and iconic styles.

I probably don’t need to tell you how obsessed I am with the punk and post-punk pieces from Westwood/McLaren and that's why I love these particular jeans so much.. 

With a waist size of just 27 inches (the yellow squiggle part), the trousers are unfortunately too small for me—perhaps I’ll find the right size eventually, but until then, though, I’ll just wear the jeans as they are. This model can be worn in three different ways, and this is how it works for me.

Instead of letting the Squiggle waistband peek out as shown in the top picture, I wear the jeans casually low on my hips, revealing the elastic waistband of my Westwood panties. Paired simply with a mesh top over a bikini top, it’s the perfect outfit for a warm summer evening with friends.
