...anything hanging around the neck becomes instantly an accessory, readily accessible, and less likely to be misplaced.

So it makes perfect sense to wear a coin case around your neck at an open-air concert—or a little pouch for your lipstick. Or this, or that...

I often carry key cases, especially when I go to the gym, but the silver Louis Vuitton case is so glamorous that I like to wear it casually around my neck.
