Timeless Cool: Docs

At Dr. Martens, 1460 stands for April 1, 1960 - the day their famous boot was created. On my 1460 ankle boots, the laces have been replaced by a zipper, the ideal solution for everyday wear.

But that’s where the new look ends; otherwise, this boot, like most of the other 1460s, is crafted from soft leather designed for everyday wear, featuring the signature yellow welt stitching and the infamous heel loop. With the classic Dr Martens bouncing sole, the boots remain a comfortable and timeless companion.

I actually bought this pair of boots last year, but since they are unlined, I waited until spring to wear them for the first time. Very important: to ensure your Docs last a long time, you should grease them regularly—ideally even before wearing them for the first time.

Ootd: Today I'm wearing a Vivienne Westwood denim shirt over my simple T-shirt and Westwood jeans that I turned inside out to loosen up the denim-on-denim look a bit.
