The Bride Movie Night Outfit 🍿

 

The first movie I will see in 2026 is Maggie Gyllenhaal's "The Bride," a reimagining of Frankenstein's Bride.

Of course I dream of the bride's Westwoodesque outfit, the silky, fluid, slit-to-the-knee orange/red slip dress with asymmetrical button placket, paired with blue/green coloured suspenders over knee socks and bright red boots, but my wardrobe simply doesn't allow for that.

What I can easily put together, however, is an outfit inspired by one of Jessie Buckley's looks in EW's exclusive "The Bride" photoshoot.
