No To Counterfeit, Replica & Dupe
We should have some real talk, shouldn't we?
Many of us have favorite designers and labels whose creations we would fill our entire closet with. However, the fact is that most of us can't afford it. That's why the counterfeit market is thriving nowadays. We are often tricked with counterfeit goods, especially when we shop online, for which we are often not to blame. Price and quality have long ceased to be guarantees of the authenticity of goods.
But some so-called fashion "lovers" deliberately buy counterfeit designer pieces. Personally, I don't think that's okay. Like with music and art, I'm willing to pay the price if I can afford it, or I'll look around the second-hand market to see if one of the highly sought-after items is waiting for me at an affordable price.
For me, fashion and style are not about walking through life like a caked up catwalk model, possibly even on fake high heels that come from a factory where people have to work under undignified conditions for our consumer desires.
I simply buy less but on official websites, or wait for sales, or browse thrift shops, flea markets, or eBay. This way, I avoid looking like I've stepped straight out of an advertising campaign, while still maintaining my very craved style.
I wear sustainable fashion that fits my lifestyle and budget, and occasionally discover rare vintage pieces that no one else in my circle wears.
I had never seen this handbag at Vivienne Westwood before, but the model in the only photo I was able to find online, is made of the same fabric and looks authentic to me. By the way, the decorative stitching on the bag happens to be in Vivienne Westwood's infamous "Squiggle" pattern. This pattern is heavily associated with Westwood's boutique Worlds End at Kings Road in London.
If anyone has the ID and the year the bag was made, please send me a short message under this article, I would be happy to hear from you.
Update.
Now that there's a picture of my bag online, I found the same bag on eBay using Google image search. Although the ad shows the purse with the Vivienne Westwood keyring, the bag itself is identical. It is listed at £291.
The Google search only shows the AI overview that identifies the bag as a Vivienne Westwood Yasmine tote bag.
That's all for now

I can understand your dilemma looks very authentic, you may have something rare, or a very good fake, keep thrifting
