Catch Stomper Sandal

 Finding well-preserved second-hand shoes is almost impossible, and when you do find these cute like-new boots (quote: "a bad buy"), they're not in your size! That's why 99% of my shoes are purchased in a store.

Of course I make sure that the brand's items are sustainably produced and that the quality promises longevity.

These sandals are my first shoes from the Vivienne Westwood label.

Made in Italy, the Catch Stomper sandals are crafted from interwoven black leather straps. They fasten with a hook-and-loop fastener and have a round toe shape. They feature a comfortable footbed and a sturdy, treaded sole. The gold-colored metal hardware and the red details are subtle eye-catchers.

On top, they were on summer sale.

However, I won't be taking them with me on my upcoming beach vacation.

Rather, the sneaker-like design of the sandals inspires me for my next city trip outfits this fall. Perhaps with a tartan kilt, matching wool socks and a denim coat, or with black palazzo pants, a punk print shirt and a leather jacket!
