Vivienne Westwood has always seen the world through the looking glass, now she has illustrated her favorite children's story by creating a unique front cover and endpapers for this very special edition.
Westwood designed the cover in a harlequin print (a pattern created by Adele Simpson in 1944), along with a drawing of Alice.
She also wrote an introduction to the book and included several pages outlining her views on capitalism, the environment, sustainable energy, and the positive significance of this edition.
Carroll's classic style also inspired Westwood's Red Label Series in Autumn/Winter 2011.
The edition includes "Through the Looking Glass" and the original illustrations by Tenniel.
