Sigue Sigue Sputnik were a British New Wave band formed in 1982 by former Generation X bassist Tony James. 

1986 saw the Cyberpunks riding high, hitting the earth like a bomb with their song 'Love Missile F1-11' from the album "FLAUNT IT" produced by Giorgio Moroder (My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls me Giorgio 😁) and landed in the charts. 

At that time, the eccentric Electro Punks from London showed the world that Punk was far from dead. 

With their unusual mixture of Punk, Glitter, Electro, Mad Max, Rock'n'roll and Psychobilly, they shook the music world, anticipated many developments of later decades and became ironic icons of the 80s. Especially in the electronic field, many artists such as Westbam and Northern Lite later paid homage to them with remixes of their classics.
