What an app did with the only selfie I took in Turin, and what I made of it... |
I'm so obsessed with Burton's style!
The queues at the entry are insane and so I had seen it during my last time in Turin, but I hadn't visited it.
What I didn't know was that during the period of my stay, the Cinema Museum was hosting a special Tim Burton exhibition! This fact only made the visit even more compelling! And so I found myself there 10 minutes before opening and waited exactly 11 minutes.....
I can stand on certain viewing platforms without panicking, but most of the time my virtigo is so strong that I can rarely enjoy the view!! It's also easier for me to climb up on foot, but an old glass elevator just isn't an option for me! That's why I only visited the cinema museum and the exhibition, but I have to admit, it really impressed me!
I'm not a declared fan of Burton's movies in general, but I realized that I had actually seen most of his films.

Of course this is also due to Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp, both actors that I love and admire. By the way, Sweeney Todd is my favorite film and I've probably seen it 5-6 times, or more!
But Burton's art is also worth taking a closer look at!
I actually own one of his comix in book form somewhere, but I'll probably delve more into his characters in the future. Personally, I firmly believe that Helena is a creature from his pen, that became magically real!!
It's Tuesday.
It's raining.
It's not warm.
And I have work to be done!
